I live in pagehall Twice this week while walking my dog (she is 10 month old staffy cross) we have had near misses either walking on the pavement or on the field to these idiots on mini motor bikes. I report it to the police and they say were to busy im sure if me or my dog gets hurt sure they will take notice. has anyone else had near misses while walking there pets

start carrying a walking stick, a good strong one. If it gets caught in someones wheel... well, it's a terrible accident.

I notice all the entrances to green spaces in Woodhouse now have those bars to stop motorbikes getting in, but if it isn't an official entrance, it's still available

There have been times when we've had to leave a field as it isn't safe for Brude to run round with one of these tearing about

we live in pagehall and we use oscarthorpe park and there are those things whizzin up and down and the dog either start barkin or runs off cos she is scared

i have one of those pop up umbrellas, originally got it to warn off bouncy dogs getting too close to my lurcher as she is fear aggressive when on the lead, however it has come in very useful with these mini bikes......if you know what i mean!!!!!!!!!

We take our puppy and 2 small boys on Wincobank Hill and regularly have the same problem. The small bikes however confine themselves to one area and aren't too bad, but there's a lad on a trials bike comes over the hill and passes far too closely. My husband accidentally kicked a football near him, causing him to duck. If looks could kill.......

We walk on black bank and have the same problem - idiot chavs on those stupid little bikes, tearing up the fields. What on Earth do they think they look like?!

well i told a copper next time one of those idoits drives at me or my dog he will be coming off and goin to hospital lol
