Hi guys,

This is my first post and I want to ask where the best place is to find asain shops. My mum wants to go but I'm not not sure where would be the best place.

If you could give me details on how to get there and available parking that would be great. ( I live in Doncaster, so detailed driving instructions would be great).

I am not sure about directions but abbeydale road is great for asian shops

Yes, good ones there. Also a thai shop off london road with crazy vegies you've never seen before! Also there is Tai Sun off the Moor on Matilda Street. I like it there.

What exactly are you looking for? If it is just spices that you want, you could get them even at the City Market. Go down the stairs after you enter, turn right and walk right up to the end. There are a couple of shops there where you would probably find what you are looking for.

There are loads of Asian shops in Darnell, everything you could ask for really. If you're looking in a more Oriental direction I think there is a good shop in the city centre, near aire street or something??

London Road too - there is a very good Turkish deli and an Afgani run shop futher along the road.
