Hi,

Have you got a 'Default Browser' selected in your Outlook options?

Does the browser just ignore you clicking or does it 'hang up'?

I had the hang up problem on a PC and it only went away when I reinstalled Outlook and IE. I never worked out what teh problem was. If you re-install, take care to make sure you don't crap on your Favourites and your email.

BTW - I appreciate that lots of folks will say 'Go Linux, get Firefox, whatever' - does anyne else have a solution for the problem as stated?

It could be caused by an unregistered .dll file. Try this
Close all programs

Click on Start>Run, key in the following and press enter

regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Click on OK when you receive the completion message.

It says a previous installation has work requiring a reboot. Have done this but still keeps saying it.
