Yep...never been to a gig in the small room there before.

Very good I thought The support bands weren't half bad either but nothing compared to seeing an ex member of Kyuss and QOTSA!

No I never saw a gig in the small room either. I was very impressed with G U Medicine. But Nick's a legend. He's in Dwarves too, one of my favourite bands.

I need to check them out at some point. I think G U Medicine has a website so will have to check them out as well!

Is that the Steel Stage? If so, what kind of capacity are we talking about? I'm seeing Get Cape Wear Cape Fly in October and just wondered how cosy it would be!

It's very cosy, even with not many people in. I'd say there were about 250 but I'm rubbish with guesses like that.

I went to this gig too and thought it was fantastic, especially when you consider at the ticket price, 3 bands for £9, first time I'd seen either of the support bands (only caught the last song of the first but they sound very good and GU Medicine were pretty good too) and 2nd time I've seen Nick.
I saw him on the main stage last time when he was touring with Mark Lanagen (although I only went to see Nick) although I think the closeness of Monday's gig made it much better, the man himself was again top notch, it would have been nice to see some accoustic stuff though, regardless it was great.

In case anyone's bothered, Mark Lanegan is playing the Boardwalk tonight. He's the bloke who sang quite a bit of Queens of the Stoneage material. I'm def going to be there.
