I have a Kernal (dunno if spelt right) error that closes down my computer only happens when i look at pictures on Google and a few other sites..could this be a windows error if so should i re-install windows 98 and hope it repairs the damage?

na if you got windows 98 etc go to start then progg's then accessories then down to system tools then system info then click tools for system file checker then click start and what files your missing or kernells etc it will ask you to put back on with the master windows disc then once thats done re boot
