What a relevant post, then.
Well, Ianbenjs, Elif is pretty much unbeatable. Further south(/east) you've got Nether Edge Kebab house (beat ya to it Mr. Bradley). Kebab world in Broomhill used to be good, but I haven't been there for a while. Kebabish on the Wicker is meant to be excellent (for the further north bit).
Cue this thread being subsumed by Sheffield's Best Kebab House Megathread.

I refer everyone to this brilliant critique of 'chicken' 'kebabs', which I wrote. God, I'm good.
Thanks.

Jannath on West Street/Fitzwilliam Street. A wonderful Kebab Special (spicy, made with minced meat that looks edible, and just perfect). The only place I would even consider having a kebab.

Can vouch for Kebab World in Broomhill - not the Doner, but the 'Mixed' Kebab - chicken and lamb shish, barbecued to order and taste to die for. It ain't cheap (fiver) but its SO good.

Elif isn't that good value though - small lamb Sheish looks a bit pathetic when you open it up
