I've got to organise my friend's 18th birthday party, we're wanting to hire out a pub or a bar (or just the upstairs/downstairs etc.)

Do you know of any that provide buffets??

We have already been to The Old Monk for another friend's birthday and would like to go somewhere different.

I think The Crystal is £6 and don't know if the tightarses will come

can you hire the upstairs section of vodka revolution? i dont know if theyll do a buffet for you though.

we do buffets at the red lion, but i dont think it would be big enough- or cool enough!

How long until the event? You could always rent a room and hire someone to do the food seperately, We arranged something with a caterer a few months ago and they was great . Will try and dig out the details if you want.

It's on the 15th-18th not sure about the day yet! We've left it a bit late!

I think we're wanting something in town where it's easy to get to for everybody!

We had it at Hillsborough WMC - An upstairs bit. Very good indeed It was ideal location due to alot of us living around that area and there is always the casino or a short taxi journey to town centre after if you feel the night is still young!

What about the VIP Area of Empire Bar? I know its not actually a family orientated place nowadays but I have been in their once for a party a few years ago and it was ok.
