Went into woolies today for something to eat and was appalled by the cafe/ "restaurant" in there. I mean first the service, I didn't expect first class but all you get is a bunch of kids serving you not a smile, no nothing... Feels like you're serving and they are the customers as all they seem to be doing is have one a hell of a laugh and a good chat and hardly no work.. The "decor" is non existent there, I've actually never seen anything like it, its worse than a cantine prison.. Its bear, its dull... And I paid £4.60 for a few chips, beans n sausages and a small coke... How much profit have they made on that???!! I'll never go in there again!!
On the other hand, Debenhams cafe is nice, I'd actually give that a 10/10 for the decor and the foods good. At least you know you're paying for pleasant surroundings around you and the staff are far better.
John Lewis is nice too but I prefered it before they supposedly improved it... It's definately got more of a self service look.
Castle house's restaurant (Coop) is a good 8/10 overall.
TJ's is decent... Any one shares my view on Wollworth's?

Woolies Cafe down the Moor has always been somewhere between crap and somewhat decent IMHO.

Sometimes you can get a decent cuppa in there, worst thing is that you have to ask for them to unlock the door to the Toilets, which are up a big flight of stairs so they're no good for anybody that's disabled

But I suppose unless you want to go right down to Atkinsons, there isn't really much in the way of Cafes down that end of Town short of going in Mucky Ds (Macdonald's)

I work in a cafe in a department store (I might get stalkers if I say which one lol), and it should be you get what you pay for, but the Woolworths one doesn't apply to that rule!! Although i thought the chips are nice!!
