You can buy a good bleaching kit from a chemist.
Boots is a good one.

if you are really asking this question it may be safer for you to go to a hairdresser and ask them to do it for you!

tis basically same as buying a hairdye but usually will have peroxide in to bleach the hair - back of box usually has a colour chart to show expected results for diff coloured hair. 'Born blonde' by clairol is one of the stronger ones you can buy on highstreet if you have really dark hair but be warned it ruins your hair if using a lot but would be ok if just want a few highlights or doin just the once. The stuff they use in salons is stronger but not as harsh on your hair and in addition they actually know what they are doing and what strength is best to use. also recommend using a hair treatment after bleaching especially if doing it regularly to touch up roots etc

Piece of advice you WILL thank me for

DONT DO IT YOURSELF!

bleach damages your hair and can make it go a gingery colour, the hairdresser's can sort this out for you.

Where abouts do u live? i can recommend one in the S6 area that is pretty cheap with good hairdressers

Me too!.....

I didnt even buy the kits, i would just buy the liquid peroxide and the powdered peroxide stuff, mix them together and dollop on my head!

But i didnt have extremely short hair then....

If you hair is long and in decent condition then go to the hairdressers.

If its short then do it yourself

kaleidoscope in hillborough

they really good, cheap, and fixed my last hair disaster which was 18 months ago and they still talk about it when i go in lol i tryed to dye my hair all red with a wash in wash out thing (- wouldnt wash in properly and then bloody would wash out again either) and went badly badly wrong patchy rusty coloured mess - thats how i actually ended up blonde as had to be bleached out. if you dont know what you are doing and dont have anyone to help you dont do it yourself. I have bleached own hair in past and its been fine but thats cos learned from past mistakes such as instructions say things like put into 4 sections - dont bother as wastes time and risk goin patchy as one section with have had bleach on longer than another. only thing worth knowing really is that your roots bleach much faster than the rest of hair which is dead so if can try to do roots last but would still recommend hairdressers as not worth risking it.

Yeah my hair was only a little longer than a skinhead when I did it, thanks to a Numan fetish I had back in the late 70s.
I can see it being a prob if the hair is longer though.
