MJMUK!

Some of the people like myself that live in a council house have no choice but to! I grant you, some of the people that have council house are government scrounges and want things done there way for nothing. However I have worked full time since leave school!

I would swap my council house for one that is my own if I could but I cant.

I have actually paid quite alot towards my house aswel even though it is still the councils just to make it livable!

Do you realise I have got 2 children, one is only 3 months old and for 3 years I havent even had central heating or an upstairs toilet! last winter was so cold my children and I had to live and sleep in one room which was the living room where the gas fire was!

So dont tell me that some people are asking for things which they shouldnt! the **** I have gone through without having basic things like heating is unbelieable so i dont think it is much to ask for them to leave room for a shower curtain do you!

I think you would draw this conclusion by the tone of most of the postings on this forum where anything critical or questioning has to automatically depicted as being resentful or predudice / hateful / jelous etc etc.

I simply asked a question! It was a perception and I was / am open to being educated accordingly.

As for the previous response, I don't think having a shower curtain put up when a screen was requested exactly constitutes a breach of human rights!

Granted it was miss read by myself - and apologies for that. My response originated from some of the other posts I've seen where I just had a perception that people were able to call the shots over what they had done. Was asking if this was the case as it seemed strange.

If you'd stopped before saying that, then it would have been just a question.
The above though isn't a question, it's a critisism, hence people taking offence.

I thought it was a legal requirement for frosted glass for any bathroom that can be seen from any other property.
