A quick search didn't bring anything up [edit: I was searching for certified copies rather than solicitors in general], so on with the new thread!

Can anyone recommend a solicitor who can make certified copies of documents without charging the earth?
Can anyone tell me how much this should cost me?

My preference is for someone within easy reach of either the town centre or Woodseats (spitting distance of the university tram stop would be ideal), who can sort this out either asap or on a drop-in basis.

[And although I believe people other than solicitors can make them, only a solicitor will do in this case, so I'm not interested in any other options. Pain in the neck it is, really.]

You can get it done at Sheffield Magistrates Courts (i used to work there) it costs £8 - you need to book an appointment though!

Cheers guys. 5-10 quid for X number of copies seems to be the going rate.

Damn annoying having to pay for it though, when I could just as easily pop down the corridor and get one of my many work colleagues to verify it, if it weren't for the solicitor it's being sent to being so fussy. Grrr...
