I know theres always daft threads like this but i really want advice! ive just got back off hol so have a nice tan and want somethin nice to wear! so you get the idea i have dark longish hair and am size 14.

Im only going into town for the night but am having friends over from Lincoln, and i really want to look like a birthday girl!

I want something sexy (i have a large chest so focus on that area please!), but i dont wear anything above knee length and look awful in skinny jeans!

i had a scoot around meadowhall yesdty and best thing i could find was green dress at river island, but im not sure....!its on the website (can do link!) and its called sequin joanna dress - under women - smart dresses


help!!!

...yes, it's a daft thread! Get yourself into town or go over to Meadowhall and trek round the shops, trying on everything that takes your eye until you find something that you really like. Yes, it's a plod, but it really is the only way.

thing is with meadowhall everything looks good on hanger but not on me, so thought id ask on here in case sum1 had similar shape and could tell me waht is fashionable and doesnt make me look like heffalump

Hmm, its a tricky one. I usually like to show my legs but maybe you could wear cropped trousers (Jane Norman have some nice ones - about £35) and some Jeans (Topshop do some great dark denim ones (£35.99 I think))

And you could just wear a nice top with them!

If you want to do the whole birthday thing, you could get your friends to get you a 21st badge and tiara and wand etc.

I'd still get miself into the shops and just make yourself try on everything (within reason) in your size. Go check out x_Sunshine_x's suggestions, and while you're there grab some more stuff to try on too. Don't just go for what looks good on a hangar. Are you half an inch thick and just a foot wide across the shoulders? Well then! You can't expect clothes to look the same on you as they do on a hangar. But some will look better, much better, when you get them on.

Keep on and don't stop until you try on an outfit that suddenly makes you look like you've lost weight and had a makeover. Yes, there IS something out there for you.

Get out there and get looking!

yeh i really like red, this red dress ive seen in cosmo isnt on the monsoon website, might have to end up with a cheapy one from select that i saw - if i get dear shoes and accessories it wont be so bad!
