I remember hubby mentioning it several years ago that they all have a name on the front and that it was a big thing "eddie spotting" so I thought, wow I'll do that too! Been doing it ever since

The shore potters society is a good one to try and spot. Thought to be the oldest removals/haulage company in Britain. They first came to service in 1498 using a horse & carriage. I think ive seen one of there vehicles in my lifetime.

I saw an 'I am an Eddie Stobart Spotter' bumper sticker on someone's car recently. I can't remember where that was but it was the first time I had ever heard of such of a thing!

Oh yeah, I see at least one of their wagons on every Motorway journey we ever go on, regardless of our destination.

I always used to say that if you haven't seen an Eddie Stobart Lorry on your travels, you haven't been on a Motorway obviously.

I always wondered though, what exactly do they carry in Eddie Stobart wagons? Is it just freight stuff, or logistics?

Not since they changed their livery........before that I used to note all the registration numbers down in a little book.

Everything. They 'rent' themselves out to other companies, and they've got a large contract with Tesco amongst other companies.

Hear Hear, I think you name it and Eddie Stobart carries it! Includes cans of coke and pet food. Look out for Tesco trailers with an Eddie cab unit on and theres aTesco distribution warehouse with plenty of Stobarts knocking around in Barlbrough

I bought a membership to the Eddie Stobart fan club for my grandma a couple of years back. They are a great company, even tho Eddie doesnt own them anymore, his brother does. Alway tidy lorries, plesant drivers, and their trucks are all well maintained. Not like some of the Diesel chuggers on the road nowadays.

I look out for them when I'm about, although we do get a couple come to work on occasion.

Joel
