Rather than start a new thread I thought I'd resurrect this one that didn't have much joy? Good netiquette or not?

Anyway I've only gone and ground 2 of my 18" Astra SRI XP Alloy's against the kerb in Crookes haven't I?

Small chunks dug out and scrapes on a Spoke on each wheel and along the rim for a few inches on each. Not the worst damage ever done to an alloy but looks terrible.

I'd appreciate any tips on where to go and a guestimated cost for the 2 wheels? Don't particularly want to be without my car for more than a day as well...

Thanks!

I'll resurrect this one again.....

The inside rim of one of the wife's alloys is out of line. Big dint which is sending the wheel out when you spin it.

Anyone know where I can get it knocked back into shape/repaired?

Cheers

Try this number. 07890 392 650.

I smashed a lump out of a Mercedes alloy a couple of years ago. They straightened out the rim, welded it up and resprayed it. Invisible mending at about 20% of the cost of a new wheel.

My dad had some 18 inch rims done in Barnsley, don't know if it was Metal Magic or Qube wheels or somewhere else, but they were approx £60 each, inc shot blasting and they look ace!
