If the British Isles were to face a threat of someone like Hitler and the Nazi's now similar to the threat during WWII.

Would you fight and support the country???

Yes most definatly I would fight for my country and die for it if need be.

I am extremely patriotic, I love my country, I'm proud of it and I would do anything to protect it.

Yes on the condition it's not something we've started deliberately and we are not the aggressors but more the defenders!

No it would be a straight forward..... I am the ruler of the world type scenario and everyone must live to my rules (sort of like Mr Bleurgh)

I ask because I wanted to know just how many people give a damn about the land they live on?

Because of what I am I have a deep sort of hippy wierd connection with the land that I won't bore you with and I wanted to see how others percieved things or if they were as proud of the land as I am.

I have also been given some information about certain things occuring at the moment and the above question may be asked of us if what I have been told is correct.

We shall see I guess, I am reluctant to live up to my namesake

I am too old now, and when thatcher was trying to dictate to the rest of the world, I said that I wouldn't be vapourised to protect her wealth, but I love this land that spawned me and I would if I could fight for it.

I'd better explain myself - I'm a strong believer in peace and non-violence, and personally I've also always thought patriotism to be a bit of a strange concept (building such a strong relationship with my place of birth - something which I had no control over). I also see this as "our world", or "our Earth", rather than "my country", and like to think that if peace and equality played a more important global role than the generation of wealth, then such aggression would not arrise.
