I don't understand this -

Missing from Howden Edge. Feather bed moss. Peak District, Parked in fairholmes visitor centre whilst out walking. , S33 area, (Central) on Tuesday, 4th June 2013

Was he lost from the visitor centre or actually up on the moor ?

Sounds like he's gone missing on the moors, where the owner parked is relevant as the dog may (hopefully) work its way back there.

Awful situation, I hope he is found soon
