I have just been on friends reunited and I find it so strange that people will tell complete lies about their lives in order to look good.

I know for certain that there are a couple of people who I know really well who have just made up stuff about their jobs/careers. Are'nt they worried anyone will see this who knows them?

Anyone else know of any friends reunited fibbers?

I've already brought this subject up here But it's nice to see someone agree with me for a change.

No comment. I'm down on Friends reunited as a popstar that married a popstar. (those who know me, know it's true though)

Tish! I can't believe you told them!

I told the truth on mine, don't see the point in lying

Mines out of date, but I don't see any reason to lie.

LOL I wrote about how i'm involved with raising awareness for Peak Oil on FR and they censored my post. They wouldn't allow anything about Peak Oil on there for some reason. As ITV own this site now, I realise its bad for their buisness for people to know and understand Peak Oil but one thing for sure being censored about somthing shows that they must be scared about it???

Links are forbidden and that what you've done.

Yes Cliff, that has to be the case. Similar reason as to why the IndyMedia server was seized - again - the other day; they tell the truth that is hidden by the mainstream media.

LOL that bit of my signature is somthing I picked up from the US of A. Everytme a yank introduces themselves to you or someone and they're married they sort of say "Hi my name is ......" and then they defensively/agressivly pronounce their good lady as "AND THIS IS MY WIFE!!! it makes me smile anyway

Friends United is a total joke.
When people put what they are really doing it is not interesting but when they make good stuff up it is great, mine is outrageous. I have contempt for people who slightly improve their status to try and go one better than their former schoolmates, that is just totally sad.
Also I am not interested in hearing the names of people's children and their birthweights, rubbish like that makes me want to vom. It would be more fun if people put their actual truthful bodyweight. That would be a site worth logging onto, rather than crap about oh I left everything behind and I live in Austrailia or some other lame nonsense.

Friends united should be taken for a bit of fun, and nothing more.

As far as FR are concerned, I am a visiting Professor of Extra-terrestrial Psychology and Languages at M.I.T.

My old friends think I am well up in the World, and other Worlds too
