The question is, does she have any in the first place to lose?

Why should it be restricted to women? Perhaps men should take out an insurance policy so that if they turn into couch potatoes and only talk about football their partners can claim.

Afraid to say it, but, on the evidence presented, he might just be able to claim that payout soon...

Yeah, waking up to that gormy smile could be a bit depressing. I'd start looking for a get out clause if I were the insurance company. Oh, that's right, it's an insurance company, they don't need an excuse for not paying.

Well I think personally she is very sad. You have to ask the question why would you want to be married to someone that makes you feel you have to do something like this in the first place! She is extremely sad and I am quite embarassed by the fact she is a woman. I don't want to be associated with this insult. I would like to think that my husband (whoever he may be one day) is with me because he loves me and whats on the inside not the outside. Sounds like they deserve each other to be honest!

Okay you knew I would have to be in here didnt you

What a SAD pair

Him for being so F***ing shallow as to make her feel bad for looking less than marvie while being pregnant, with HIS baby presumably

and

Her for being so under his thumb as to cowtow

Personally, I would have picked up my baby and my bags and left him, aeons ago

This story put me a bit in mind of some of those wife-swap documentaries we saw earlier in the year. Some truly vile men and some really stupid women letting them get away with it

As my mother would so cleverly say, these two would spoil another couple

Probably not. Some people will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame.

Just curious as you say that as she married a 'builder' and there intellectual act of the day is reading the sun then youmust be naive in thinking this. My better halfs father is just a 'builder' but he happens to own his own house in the Whirlow area of sheffield (for those who aren't in the know it's the posh area). And he has an IQ of 141. He enjoys being a builder which is why he continues to do it!

She stated that she wouldnt consider plastic surgery so maybe she isnt going far enough.
If she valued her marriage and her husbands love then she should do everything possible to look after herself and keep her looks.
There is no excuse for letting herself go.

Think it's a bit sad - one thing is keeping yourself healthy and fit, another is doing things solely just to please another person. If he was that bothered, I'd let him walk. Bet he's not much of a stunner himself!
