Fridge freezer, how long should it stand?

Just got a new 2nd hand one, done the scrubbing out bit, then remembered that your supposed to leave it to stand before plugging it in or something? anyone got any idea how long for?

24 hours i think.

Yep, 24 hours if it's been turned on it's side or end. If it's been transported upright, I think a couple of hours is ok.....

Go ahead, you know you want to.... just plug it in as long as you've scrubbed it out with bicarbonate soda it will be fine.

Always leave them 24 hours to be safe. I've known people kill brand new fridges turning them on too early and of course they don't get a penny back.
