Before you say it I know aol is cr*p but it's been fine for me over the last three years. Having said that I decided it was too expensive so tried the same ploy I took with Sky and called them to cancel with the result that aol have reduced my monthly chanrge by £5 for being such a loyal customer.

I reckon it's worth a try with anyone who supplies a service such as cable, satellite etc. When I tried to cancel sky due to not having a good signal and not wanting to pay £85 for a call out they sent me an engineer, replaced the lnb, cabling and digibox free of charge. Why not give it a go and see what you can get free. Maybe we should ask for a sticky for this stuff?
