Wanting ideas other than the fairground for Me, the lad n R-lass to do & see.
Classy places only please cos we're posh.
Oh and any Hotel recommendations too - where to eat - you know - that kind of stuff.
And where to avoid n why

Tho I'm sure it's good and wavey and watery when you do see it

The best evening entertainment is at the Maid Marion club (actually think its changed its name to something like copacabana). Its actually on the Robin Hood site in Chapel St. Leonards.

Go for a long walk around the nature reserve at Gibraltar Point. Just the thing for working off a hangover, or working up a thirst for a glass or three of something nice. I think you'll find local buses that do it easily enough. There are lots of rabbits. Which is nice.

Be careful with Junior. They have patrols in Chavness looking for unwanted Ginger children, I heard they put them in an orphanage for unwanted and unloved ginger children.
I heard that rumour on here so it must be true.

Mablethorpe is ok.....has a nice beach.
Stock car racing.
Avoid the market at Fantasy Island.....more chavs per square inch than Essex.

Hotels....
A little bit out of the way (but still walkable) is the Westdene hotel... Run by Sarah and Ashley... really lovely couple, he was a chef and does some really good food...
Much closer to the seafront is the Karema, run by another lovely couple who serve the biggest meals going and are very reasonable on price....
A favourite of mine is the Sunningdale, which is just around the corner from the seafront... Lovely old building with beams and whatnot... Its only B and B, but the brekky is great and the staff are nice, but not as nice as in the other two hotels... This is the one with 4 poster beds Probably not a good idea if ya got kiddies with ya, but the family rooms are nice and spacious

How dare you!
You know I'm not!
Its just that I've been every year since I was 18 months old, so I think its worth me putting my two penneth in to help t'owd Don
and come off it... if I was a chav, I doubt I'd be an expert in which are the nicest hotels... and be able to name the proprietors...
