Haven't tried it but my sister in law recommends it.
She's just been using her work computer at EMI whilst sitting on the settee at Draggletail Towers

Very east to set up, she says.

I think you have to pay to upgrade for some of the more advanced features. Other than that, a review on the Gadget Show a couple of weeks back recommended this too.

I've been using it.

You get full options for a trail time, then you just get remote access free after that.

Very useful if you need info off your home pc at work, however after the free trial you lose the file transfer option, which is probably the most useful.

The screen refresh is quite slow aswel, but good enough for me to play my Football Manager 2006 game while at work

Installed it over the weekend to check the security camera at work. Excellent.

Grab a copy of UltraVNC if you want file transfer - the standard VNC might do it, but I'm not sure. Not sure I'd recommend it for playing games on, but it's ok for standard admin stuff

Only FM2006 will work ok as it's text based and very basic 2D graphics.

Your not gonna get counterstrick source running. lol

remote desktop is only included with xp pro. But i'd take a flavour of vnc over anything else, especially as it's open source.

Open source, either client or server can be a wide range of operating systems, can access from a web browser and a few other features. But if you can use it, remote desktop is probably faster
