stay well away from the Sinai would be my tip. a bad hotel could be the least of your problems.

I see the Islamists are kicking off in Egypt and attacking Christians. I can actually see Russia's point about Syria. You almost know what comes next will be worse than they had before. That's pretty much par for the course in the middle east.
