I loved harry basset when he was with united, but after watching neil warnock these past few years, its become a james bond situation = roger moore or sean connery.

Who is the blades best manager in ur eyes?

Greatest*

I'll stick with Warnock, I was too young to remember the Bassett era that much.

I think most of Wednesdays managers over the last ten years are ideal candidates for that; Danny Wilson, Terry Yorath, Chris Turner, dear oh dear.....

I've got to agree! Now can you all remove those rose tinted glasses and get real! You do all make me smile with your finnicky ways and memory loss

No. What do you mean?

I am fully aware of our league positions and cup runs over the years, so I don't know what you're getting at when you mention 'rose tinted glasses'.

I could be wrong but I think he was at either Southampton or Sunderland fairly recently.

Whilst Nigel Spackman was at the lane we played some of the best football I haver ever consistently seen. However he did inherit a good squad from Kendall and we had already agreed to sign Borbokis and Dellas before him. Although, he did sign Marcello and Paul McGrath
