You'd best give the hedge a quick trim and pop some flowers on the windowsill 'cos that's what your house is gonna look like all over the planet for the next few years!
I love this idea of warning people when the Google car comes round ... it'd make a brilliant website. People could put up daft pictures in their windows!

Its updated all the time, I believe the cars are given to people to drive as part of their day to day lives, there is one that lives not too far away from me.

You can get hired as a driver for your area if you're lucky.

I love Google street view, you can even look at where you're going on holiday before you book it!

I saw it pass my shop a month or so ago too. If you look at the top of Twentywell lane, go passed my shop (the Greengrocers) down towards the chemist and look through the passenger side window of the van parked on the pavement you'll see my old dog sat on the van seat waiting for me to go out on deliveries with him : )

He's dead now so I hope they don't change the picture : (

I wouldn't hold your breath for an update anytime soon! It went past me on Glossop Road in September 2009 and the picture only came on in January 2012 (which took me totally by surprise as I had forgotten about it!) On the other hand it came down our street last July and that also appeared in January 2012, so who knows!

My wife is on it walking the dog near where we live, loads of people have mentioned it to her.

We zoomed into our garden and there was a large tent pitched on our back lawn, that was quite a few years ago.
