The more we hear about corrupt politicians the more I think we should just get shut of them full stop and give back absolute power to the monarchy.

And what if the absolute Monarch decided that people called Digsy should be beheaded, would you support that?

Their are all scrounging gits, milking this country of millions of pounds a year.
The Dukes "own land" all over the country that was stolen from you're and my ancestors.
This land should be grabbed back by the goverment and sold off to pay our debts.
Duke of Norfolk "owns" large parts of Sheffield city centre
Duke of Westminster, why bother, you get the gist.
Get rid

If you have proof of such theft, take it to the courts. I'm betting that you don't.

Have you got written deeds and contracts that prove that land was legally obtained by Royal families in the past and not just gained by force of arms?

At what point did the law change so that people are guilty if I can't prove their innocence?

Yes birthright would surely prevent them from taking part in any kind of corruption.
What about if we had neither? Anarchism should be an available option.

Surely anyone should be able to prove their legal ownership of property or land, provide details of who they purchased it from etc etc

Then it wouldn't be the first monarch to behead a member of my family.

What on earth makes you think the monarchy would accept it?

What purpose would it serve to sell all the land to foreigners? We would still have rich people owning it, and in a few years time we would be in debt again.

Good point. Their responsibilities would sky rocket for no extra pay. Also we may start to hold them accountable as well as they'd actually have to start doing something tangible, it might bring about the end of the monarchy.

The point is, at her heart, the Queen cares about this country. Politicians do not. They're in it for the money, whatever they can do to expand and increase the profits of their and their friend's private businesses, they will do. And that's a fact.
Most of the big names in politics are multi-millionaires, and are only interested in making money. They couldn't care less about the country, cause they know in most cases they got 4 years at the top and that's it. They can screw the country over in that time and make as much money as possible, then hand the mess over to someone else.
The Queen has a heart, the Queen loves the country because the Queen is the country.
