We all have our favourite singers, but who do you think was a good singer, i mean someone who could actually sing even if you don't listen to there music.

They must be Dead of course.

Mine is Karan Carpenter.

Nina Simone (may she rest in peace - although I expect she's joined the rest of the Jazz fraternity in the other place!)

Nat King Cole was a top singer but Nina Simone, was she a singer from recent or yester year, I know her name but can't quite recall a face.

My one is regret in life is that I never saw Queen play live in the flesh.

 

The live aid performance at Wembley Stadium is the tops.

You seem to have omitted the marvellous Walter Widdup from your list of great singers.Halifax-born this astounding tenor captivated the London music scene in the early days of the last century.His rendition of "Tom Bowling" has never been bettered.

Ask your favourite radio DJ to include it in his requests and dedications.
