MS (Windows) Paint to be discontinued

yup microsofts paint, one of the handiest programmes on windows machines.

but its successor paint 3d will continue (never used that so dont know how it compares)

Download Winaerotweaker, a free prog that lets you alter Win10 to your liking, such as restoring win 7 volume control/change fonts/icon spacing etc. I'm sure you can continue with Paint as opposed to Paint3D

They should left it just for nostalgic reason.

Paint 3D is quite nice, it can still be used as "paint" just with a different layout, only difference is it has very simple 3D modelling features!

Nothing much to worry about then. They should also remove plenty of other useless stuff as well.

Still, terrible loss for the child in me that used to draw lines on the page and then fill the spaces in with colour when I was bored at school.

never used paint 3d, is it more bloated, or roughly the same, small, easy / quick to load program
