Nagel   10 #5 Posted November 13, 2010 I would vote Cabaret Voltaire, truly innovative and influential.  I have affection for the Human League, Heaven 17 and Pulp, but I don't really listen to their music and only have "Sheffield Sex City" and "Wickerman" on my mp3 player, both by Pulp. Bassman62 Â Â 10 #8 Posted November 14, 2010 Jo Cockers 'Grease Band', all there gigs were live like 'Woodstock for example. Some of the techno bands mentioned here not only take pre recorded music on stage but even some of the vocals. Jo Cockers side men Tommy Eyre, Chris Stainton, Kenny Slade etc were top class musicians who played everything live. Some of the acts mentioned here have never actualy played some of the tracks from their albums as much of them were built/constructed from pre recrded riffs etc.
 Share this content via...
