Wine bar on Cambridge street 1970's

Can anybody remember the name of the wine bar that was on cambridge street near the top end ? in the 1970's

Not theMmetro that was downstairs in the basement&not Henrys as thats at the bottom end&the wine bar was up at the top end of Cambridge Street&it had an upstairs area

Was it Yates`s?

 

Not in the 70s. The only Yates at that time was the Bagshawe Arms on Hemsworth Road.

The only wine bar I remember in that area in the late 70's was Mr. Kites - but that was on Division Street.

Had many a pleasant evening in there in the late 70's/early 80's.

I think it was one of the few bars that opened until 12mn.

You can't be serious. That building didn't go up until circa 1990.
