Planning Permission, Party Wall, Cost.

Recommended Posts

I want to extend the width of the doorway to open up our off-shot kitchen in to the dining area. The door aperture is flush with the party wall and I have been advised that I need planning permission. I looked on the Council website I can't work out if I would have to pay an 'application fee' of £180 and a 'building notice fee' of £180, or just the latter. Is anyone able to shed any light?

I would ask the Council, they will give you a definitive answer.
