Average size garden

I just wondered what is the average size garden?

Would you class your garden as big or small?

About a quarter of an acre, and everything grows too fast.

Mine is 27.5 meters long and 7 metres wide tapering to 5 metres wide at the bottom, I would say it's larger than average..

Are we talking Sheffield in particular? I'd say a 14x8 meters plot (112 square meters, that includes the house footprint and front/side/rear garden) is around average.

Our plot is around 95 square meters, including the garage footprint. Our rear garden is about 30 sqm.

I guess mine is around 40 Sq metres. I'd say it's small.

When I was growing up our next door neighbour had around 4 acres (1.6 hectares). My Aunt and Uncle have around 5000 Sq metres. Those are larger than average I would say.

I'd say the average size would need to be somewhere over 100 Sq metres.

Mine is 54foot long and 16foot wide approximately
