If it's a newish appliance it would probably be a gas line blockage. if an older one it could be a blown compressor, either way you need professional help. Can't help with the local repair man as I don't live over there anymore. Good luck and watch you don't get over quoted by the technician .

I'd give JL a call, we had our fridge break down a couple of years ago (and again recently, when we did replace it) and it turned out there was a known fault, JL sent out an engineer the following day. This is why you buy at JL in the first place

We had the same problem with our fridge freezer and was told the cost of repair was a large % cost of a new one.

Seeing it was 7 years old we bought a new one from JL.

What a pain it was trying to get one that fitted into the built in cabinet.

We had this a few weeks ago so I searched online for some advice/tips etc. This worked for me.......Turn the fridge thermostat to OFF and leave for 24 hours then turn back on, hey presto, fridge working back to normal.

We had similar thing on a Hotpoint, a fan pumps the cold from freezer up to fridge,and it iced up a common thing.A good defrost and all was well

That's the solution

I disconnected it lunchtime Sunday, Monday morning switched it back and hey presto

after about 4 hours the temperature was was back to the normal +5c

Apparently the most fridge freezers will only work within certain surrounding temperatures in my case above +32c and the chances are its cooling ability is affected.
