My Local Abbydale Road

My Local on Abbydale Road has been closed for sometime.

What would people think if it reopened as a NISA convenience store??

Selling all the products my local did plus more and better prices.

Wouldn't be bothered. Why would people have any affinity to Nisa? If Morrisons couldn't make it work, why should Nisa be able to? There are too many other supermarkets within a short distance away as well as plenty of independent shops.

I think people would think that "your local" was over charging them.

I wouldn't go to it I always find those kind of shops extremely over priced even that local morrisons was on abbeydale rd

If you are comparing them to big supermarket prices then yes they are overpriced.

I run my own shop and some stock is cheaper to buy from a supermarket then it is from the cash and carry.

Hi no im not comparing them to the big supermarkets I just think in general those type of shops like nisa spar mccolls are expensive I no a couple of independant mini markets / shops on abbeydale road that are fairly cheap

What happened to your idea of opening a shop in the unit on Ecclesall Road South that used to be Rhythm & Booze? There was a lot of local support for that plan.
