SiSiSi   10 #1 Posted October 11, 2016 (edited) Why do we bother with breaks preceding international games?  In the 70s and 80s it was cited as one of the reasons that our national team performed so badly. Was it because we didn't qualify in '74 and '78?  Has it made any difference? In this day & age the national team only has to beat the Dog & Duck FC to qualify anyway.  As a club supporter I look forward to Saturday and really miss it when games are suspended.  Scotland haven't really benefited either have they? Not that I care. Edited October 11, 2016 by SiSiSi
 Share this content via...
buy-truffles   10 #2 Posted October 13, 2016 I think they need to move all qualifiers to the summer before the tournament then the players would have more playing time together around the matches and the league wouldn't get broken up as it does now. We'd also have footy to watch in the summer on the years without a tournament
 Share this content via...
