A few pointers.

Ebola has been known about for decades.

Ebola only hit the headlines when it spread to a few people outside Africa.

No people outside Africa now have Ebola.

Now its easy to see why there are not many hyped reports of infections as its now an African problem.

We should be mindful of all contagious disease, worldwide ease of travel means that disease can easily be spread worldwide very quickly.

The really dangerous threat would be an airborne virus like flu, more people were killed by the 1918 outbreak that died in the first world war.

Experts seem surprised that we have not had a re run of such a deadly virus in recent years.

It is inevitable that we will be subject to an attack sooner or later.

not only that its not a huge surprise as they live like animals most of the time whilst the rulers, kings,princes & Presidents of african states live in huge luxury!

thats what the west should address first not scaremongering everyone with this Ebola crisis which has been around for years just like the famines, its not new news.

yes well perhaps we should stay well away and stop the money and the aid flooding in there and let them sort it themselves????

i agree and accept that and thats how the world works ,but when we in europe have to send Aid money to finance it !thats when it pees me off
