bobby99 Â Â 10 #1 Posted June 18, 2010 Has anyone reading here had a wet room fitted in their homes? Or can anyone recommend someone who fits them? I'm told it's a very specialised job. It's for a disabled friend just moving into a privately owned bungalow and needs to have one fitted asap. Please can anybody help.....Thanks
 Share this content via...

Tyranna   10 #8 Posted June 18, 2010 My parents who are quite elderly, but can still climb stairs, had one installed a couple of years ago with a shower, in the ground floor of their townhouse in Ireland, in part of what was the former kitchen, as they built an extension for anew kitchen/dining room. VERY luxurious, not sure how much it cost, as the wet room was just one element of an extensive refurb.
 Share this content via...
Plain Talker   11 #9 Posted June 18, 2010 I had a wet room installed, about 4 years ago, using a Disabled Facilities Grant, the work was done by Paul Beatson. His company made a lovely job of the conversion.  I was very happy with the work, on all counts:- the speed, the efficiency, and the quality. I love it.
