..Beans on Toast..

For a simple breakfast loved by most,

You can’t beat a bit of them beans on toast,

Open the Cupboard and take out a can,

Empty contents into a pan,

Put on a gentle heat with occasional stir,

Pop two slices of bread into toaster,

When toast pops up its time for that butter.

Spread evenly and try not to clutter,

Then pour on top those succulent beans,

In that tomato sauce add a sprinkle of cheese,

A touch of pepper and a bit of Brown Sauce,

Sit and devour the pleasure is all yours.
