Robin-H   11 #2 Posted May 14, 2017 The Labour Party must be applauded for proposing the Robin Hood Tax!  Not necessarily.. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/11879262/Of-all-Jeremy-Corbyns-ideas-a-Robin-Hood-tax-may-be-the-worst.html  https://www.ft.com/content/b9b40fee-9236-11e2-851f-00144feabdc0  There is a reason why the tax was tried, and quite quickly scrapped, in Sweden. Unless everybody does it, it's worse than useless.
 Share this content via...

Robin-H Â Â 11 #4 Posted May 14, 2017 That movie is three years old. It doesn't sound like this is today in their manifesto. Â They have pledged a Robin Hood tax - it's in the news again today. Â http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2017-39910293 Â It isn't a plan that stands up to much scrutiny however, as unless every country has the tax then trades etc will just happen elsewhere, as happened when Sweden introduced it. dutch   68 #6 Posted May 14, 2017 Another piece of political rhetoric that won't see the light of day.  Exactly, it is easier to leave EU than to take money from rich to give it to the poor.
 Share this content via...
