crookedspire   10 #1 Posted May 11, 2017 In the last budget we had Phil Hammond wanted to increase National Insurance on self employed people but under pressure dropped the idea.  In a recent press interview Mrs May was asked if a rise in National Insurance for the self employed was still on the cards she answered that the idea had been not ruled out it so it is possible if the Tories win anyone who works for themselves will have too pay more so trades people will have to increase their prices which could affect their chances of getting work .  I know of a few self employed people their are already struggling and an increase in National Insurance will not help.
