Hard to hear mumblings on TV programmes

Just switch sound off and put subtitles on i do when watching football

Has anyone noticed that most Football pundits on Sky & BT seem to be ex Liverpool or scottish players?, what Scots can tell us about football I don't know, and the Scouse accent must be the worst in England,

That's strange as I watch the Expanse and have no problems with hearing the speech clearly but, it is going through a AV amp with some decent speakers and not through the TV speakers or a sound-bar. With most TV series that are not in surround sound I do put it in stereo mode though as it sounds much clearer.

Hmm, perhaps Netlfix and 'other sourced episodes! ' aren't having good sound. Other programs seem fine so it's not my ears unless they are being very subjective. I've tried various settings on my amp. But I fully understand why the Belter speak differently. Anyway, subtitles have fixed it and it's still a brilliant show.
