End of phone contract

Just come to end of my contract with EE for my mobile phone. They have offered me a LG K4 phone at £17 per month.

That's what I've done ,monthly payments have gone down from £35 a month to £4 now

My EE contract is up and I am going sim only as a few weeks ago my phone packed in so I bought an LG K4 for £60 and to be fair its fine not worth £17 a month for two years though.

just go in the store or ring them and ask what sim only deals they have. if your happy with your phone it's worth doing as you are only paying for the plan and not a new phone.

BT, Plusnet and TalkTalk now have sim only plans so if one of these are is your isp you could start there. GiffGaff might be worth looking at. Asda Mobile is a good deal and with no contract. You can stay with EE on a sim only deal. If you move to another provider and want to retain your number, contact EE for your PAC code first.

I've always been a fan of Giff Gaff, it's very easy to use and very easy to stop should you want to go back on contract.

I was with Orange and when my contract ended the best tariff I was offered was dearer than my old one and less minutes. I contacted Orange to unlock my phone and went on Giff Gaff where I pay £7.50pm for unlimited texts 250 minutes and 500mb data.

Plusnet are now offering 250 minutes/500 texts/500MB data per month for £5 - link. Existing customers get a slightly better deal.
