The Owls win and the blades..erm..

Recommended Posts

...Fail to beat 10 man Scunny in the 3rd Division El Classico!

Wednesday make it 4 wins out of 4, draw level with Leeds and pull 7 points clear or Norwich with a game in hand.

2 excellent goals and a brilliant penalty save in a game that we won quite comfortably even though Forest got one back, a definite 'foot' in the playoffs.

United, despite dominating, couldn't find a way past 10 man opposition (for most of the 2nd half) though no harm done as they kept the status quo with everybody drawing. It seems that the chasing pack don't want to challenge!

Owls win and ermmm Blades top of the league.

A points a point, could have done with three but at least we look like we'll pick up more points than Scunthorpe as the season continues.

Excellent attendance as well... Nearly 28,000 at the lane, which is nearly 8,000 more than two big clubs in the championship, tells its own story.

Wednesday on a roll, which is expected with the players they've got... Not too far now, from automatic promotion which I said weeks ago.

Shame your £10,000,000 hitman didn't score for the second game consecutive, but he'll come good.

Nothing shameful about it, our £20,000,000 hitman scored instead (and should have had another). :)

He didn't score but he's creating space that allows others to, no coincidence we've started scoring more since he signed, onwards and very much upwards.

Not sure what your point is but can't argue with current run of results, a win midweek (although not guaranteed) would put us in a great position.

I have been listening to POG and the presenter and every Blades fan including Keith Edwards were saying it was the best performance for years. However failing to beat a team at home who prior to this game had not won for well over a month and are definitely in a bad patch plus being down to 10 men for 40 minutes to me seems to be a below average result.

Things never change the Blades are always too quick to proclaim their team as certs for promotion. This might come back to bite me but we're they not 5 points ahead of another team with two games in hand with only a few games to go before one of their greatest failures.
