Which area of sheffield is good to live in council flats?

Recommended Posts

Hi. im currently living in a council flat in darnall s9.

im thinking of moving out of here asap. the tenants are very noisy and i have also been burgled (possibly by one of my neighbour flats).

went to London for 2 days. came back to see everything gone (tv, ipad, laptop, all electric items basically plus even my clothes LOL).

recently bided on different council flats. offered one in stannington tower blocks which i refused due to bad reviews on the internet.

so i need suggestion, which area should i bid?

i only got 2 chances left so wanna make sure i bid on the right property.

any help would be appreciated.:help:

hmmm I know little about this but reading on this forum, no matter what you bid on you don't get it unless you are bidding to stay in Gleedless valley. I have worked on the estate there and the people seemed nice and friendly but there must be a reason why everyone is avoiding the area.

it's nice and green, and I have personally never had any trouble there. I have a three bed mid terrace house.

i have no problem with houses (i am not eligible due to single) but flats is totally different thing. families live in most houses and flats are full of *****

i am saving for a house so hopefully will get mortgage in near future.
