tattytilda   10 #1 Posted July 18, 2017 Sorry if this is in the wrong section  My son has just brought the above product and is having difficulty getting it to work.  Does anyone have experience with these that could give him a couple of starter lessons?  It would be a shame for him to give up on it before he's given it a chance but its a whole new language to me!! Ghozer   112 #4 Posted July 18, 2017 it was working fine but then i tried putting a light show over a project i downloaded and i must have tampered with some of the keys because now all the pads are jumbled up and play random parts.  When you create the grid yourself (which samples play on which keys) each key is assigned an ID (like A01, A02,... B01, B02 etc, not exactly, but an example)  The software then picks up the ID of the key, and plays the correct sample for the correct ID..  When you apply lightshows, they can sometimes interfere with the ID's if they don't use the standard default ID's  you may just have to put the other grid back on...  or, have you selected a different page/channel?
