We are a community a cappella choir called Opor singers. There are about 10 of us of all ages and we can all sing! Our sessions are informal and always fun. We currently have a repertoire of foreign language songs and songs that members have written and/or arranged themselves.
We are looking for a voluntary leader/teacher to run our sessions as the previous person has stepped down. We meet every Wednesday from 6.30-8.30 (we have a tea break in the middle) at the Sharrow Community Forum (Old Junior School) on Sharrow Lane. We are looking for someone who can run a warm up and introduce and teach new songs. There are members who are able to help with this and teach songs of their own from time to time.
