mogwai84 Â Â 10 #1 Posted January 16, 2012 In our house the cooker hood is only pumping the air out of the side of the chimney (it's not being ducted outside). It can't go directly out the back of the cooker hood like normal, because of the height of our house relative to next door (otherwise it could have gone out to the alleyway between the houses). I think the best solution is to run a ducting from the top of the chimney, along the top of our units and out of the wall a bit further along (about 1 metre). If anyone has any experience at doing a job like this (including having to put the external vent in), please message or post here as we'd like to get some quotes in the near future. It may require some creative 'bodging' to adapt the top of the chimney. Â This is our hood, btw: http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product/HS6TIX-Hotpoint-Chimney-Cooker-Hood-Stainless-Steel-19695.aspx
 Share this content via...
