Guest makapaka   #37 Posted March 23, 2017 Mine would be: Don't smoke.  Worry a bit more.  Context - age 15 I couldn't give a toss about the world or those around me. In fact, I didn't give a toss about myself. It took me a long time to get over that - now that I have, life is much, much better.  Yeah there's a middle ground I suppose.  I still worry to this day and I think it's borne out of habit rather than anything particular.  I bet I've wasted years doing it though and added years to my age.  My nan bless her said to me one day "stop meeting it half way - worry about it when it comes" it was best advice I ever got as next to none of the things I've worried about have come to fruition.  I say it to my kids now.  I still can't help but worry a bit though!! medusa   16 #42 Posted March 24, 2017 To recognise when I was still young and gorgeous that I wasn't the ugliest creature on the face of the planet.  (actually, I really wish I could get a youngster that I know, who is stunningly gorgeous but doesn't see it, to feel this one at the moment). sgtkate   10 #43 Posted March 24, 2017 I'd tell myself to just carry on. There isn't a great deal about my life I'd change right now. I'd love to change the world but not even I could do that at 15!
 Share this content via...
Moonbird   10 #44 Posted March 24, 2017 I'd tell myself that I was pretty, clever, not fat, not useless and that the people who bullied me had the real problem...dont go into the first job that you find but go to college to get the education that I should have had at school and then go to uni and fulfill the potential that was there. Be more careful about who you trust.
 Share this content via...
