Another Grooming Scandal - Aylesbury

Recommended Posts

What is going on in this country when town after town, up and down the country, is uncovering these grooming scandals with underage girls being abused by gangs of grown men? Clearly something is not quite right. I can't believe how many similar scandals have now emerged, similar to the local Rotherham one:

Everyone of those convicted needs to serve very very long sentences and if they are not originally born here they need sending back to the country they came from regardless of if they have family, wives or children here.

Along with the cases of child abuse highlighted by the Westminster VIP scandal, child abuse has been happening on an industrial scale in this country.

There has been a Government inquiry instituted that may report on the issue in 5 years.

There are a number of threads on this Forum about this issue. Worth looking up.

I'm not aware of any threads on the Aylesbury scandal and that highlight the sheer scale of the number of these similar scandals. This isn't just one pervert abusing a powerful position, this isn't even just one gang of several perverts; it's several gangs consisting of several perverts and all operating in a very similar way, from very similar backgrounds and targetting very similar victims. But all seemingly unconnected and geographically spread. What if this is only the tip of the iceberg?

And 5 years for an inquiry? Sounds like another whitewash and "lessons will be learned" type job.

Surely it's a good thing that these particular types of gangs are now being brought to justice? For a long time the authorities were afraid investigating and prosecuting them for fear of being seen as racist. The same thinking even applied here before any cases were brought to court when threads mentioning the problem would be instantly deleted.

Part of me wonders whether the police turned a blind eye to most of the Asian grooming gangs to keep them sweet so they didn't become terrorists. A lot of this took place around the time of the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions.

This happens nationwide. Tying it to localities is dumb, a lot of these girls get ferried from town to town which indicates that there is a whole network of these critters. I have said this ever since the Rotherham news broke and I will maintain it. It is time the nation learned about grooming/loverboys so we can start to protect our kids.

The 'network' is their culture. They were raised with the same attitudes and beliefs about woman (especially Western women/girls) and as such it is possible for 60 different men to be approached by the initial abuser and for all to kindly accept an offer to share instead of reporting the abuse.

The disgraceful culture within the public sector is also exposed by these scandals. A culture of politically correct paralysis where fear of the racism label is overarching. A culture where people have been conditioned to believe, at least to act, as if cultural diversity is all good. We have failed to address the fact that some cultures have values not aligned with our own and failure to challenge that has facilitated abuse. People should think on that before shouting 'racist' every time someone dares challenge a trait/belief/ practice from a foreign culture.

Islamic culture nurtures too many men to thinking women, especially non-Muslim women, are lesser beings. It is just one of several cultural problems that need addressing urgently if those practicing it are to continue to be tolerated by wider society.

Article from 2011.

Egg on face in 2015.

However the real problem was that the child protection services and society gave these guys Carte Blanche to do what they did. They knew they could play the racism card because they were "protected" by political correctness.

Hopefully as more and more of these cases come to light the veil of impunity that these gangs worked within will have been lifted.

'Islamic culture' what a joke.

There is no such thing. These men were just abusers, taking advantage of the girls situation.

These girls were vulnerable and had a difficult upbringing which allowed for these men to take advantage- which may have more underlying reasons of why such men do this.

What is your view of this fella who actually wrote to the Home Secretary asking for paedophilia to be legalized.

some of these kids who were supposed to be protected by (social services/police) but the system let them down badly. we know that this was caused by a lack of investigating the accused because of the threat of racism being bandied about. I would like to hope that if anything could be learnt from all this is that the police/social services/councils will act without the racism card being thrown into the mix.

whats your thoughts on a culture that allows girls as young as 13 marrying against their will to some stranger in a foreign country?. whats your thoughts on a culture that allows fgm to be carried out by some dubious doctor with parents consent on young girls? oh and by the way the bloke in your article needs locking up and hopefully for a very long time

I think post #10 shows the race card is still alive and well. Any attempt to at least consider the possible root causes is dismissed, usually with an example of a single white paedophile. Of course paedophilia is not limited to a certain race or religion. But this gang grooming seems to be a cultural phenomenon that needs addressing. I was shocked at how many cases there are now.
