Chez2 Â Â 10 #4 Posted September 20, 2014 No problem. I used to use the farmers in our village when I kept lots of ducks and quite a few chickens. I only have a few chickens now so the saving isn't worth the time and effort for us. A bag of grain lasts us a month and I use shavings rather than straw now. Poultry need straw rather than hay.
